Quick question here:
I know one can pay the whopping tuition over the course of equal payments. I was just wondering if there is a fee, which there is at most schools, for doing this. I looked at the website given on the little pamphlet, but the only fee it gave was the dollar application fee. Is this the only fee? If it is my dad is going to be so much happier with me going to Richmond. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good news for Dad's happiness rating! The only fee is the $50 enrollment fee. Then you pay them in equal installments over 10 months (starting in June, ending in March). They make their money by collecting from you at the beginning of the month and paying us at the end of the month, using that money to invest in the interim. It seems to work nicely from everyone involved and we do not get complaints about them according to my friends in the Student Accounts Office.

I hope that will be helpful in your family's cash management situation!

Follow-up question:

Is the payment plan for those who must finance the entire bill? Or is it possible to make a substantial payment deposit and finance only the remainder?

Thanks.

The payment plan is NOT only available to those who must pay the entire bill themselves. You can make a substantial deposit and then arrange to break up the rest into smaller increments. Only if your desired monthly payments would be less than $300 would our Student Accounts Office need to approve the plan. You may call them about your individual situation at 804-289-8417.
