Paying Tuition - Int'l Students

Hey.

I am an international student currently living abroad.

A few days ago, I received the bill by mail and it said it is due August 14.

As far as I understand, international students are to attend Session F, which I already RSVP'ed, and the bill is not mailed until the student registers.

Payment information on Albert states I am required to pay within 5 business days of registration if I'm attending Session F. In addition, Bursar's office website says "Selecting courses is the first step in registration at New York University. After registering, you will be mailed a Statement of Account..."

I don't understand what is happening. Is it simply a mistake? Or am I really required to pay it by August 14?

By the way, internationals out there, how are you paying the tuition?
For me, I don't have any US account yet, so E-check is not an option. Also, I don't want to waste 2.5% convenient charge. So, I'm thinking of sending a bank draft or a certified check.

Thanks in advance.
