<p>I've been helping my friend with his application to an out of state school, and he really has no idea how college works. Anyway, I told him to make sure he sent his entire application by February 1st through the Common App website. I thought those were pretty clear instructions, but today he asked me what the deadline for the payment is (cue panic), and it turns out he thought that the payment could be turned in whenever as long as before April 1st. He just checked out to go home and pay it, but if his payment is 11 days late will his application even be considered? This is his only school besides the local state university, and he desperately wants to attend...</p>
<p>Just call the school and explain what happened. They’ll tell him if they’ll consider the application or not.</p>
