Payment not showing up on My UNC?

Hi everyone :)

I have a little problem. So I submitted my app for early action and paid the fee but on my unc it still has the application fee in my to do list. I know I paid because I printed out the receipt after the transaction went through and I was just wondering would this prevent admissions from viewing my application for the early action round?

I called the UNC app support line on November 1 when it still hadn't shown up and they told me they couldn't do anything about it and to just wait but it's still not there! And the receipt even says the to do list would reflect the payment 2 hours after I paid.

Haha sorry, don't mean to sound so obsessive but I really put effort into making the early action deadline and don't want to have to be pushed back to regular decision.

Any advice?
Thanks in advance!

Is it still on your to-do list?

Well I contacted them again and they said they received my app and fee (guess there’s just a delay on MyUNC) but apparently it says I submitted it Nov 2 :frowning: But the person said they would send my question to admissions as well to see if it affects whether I’m early action or not. Hopefully with my payment receipt and the email I was sent Nov 1 that my application was received, I’ll still be considered for early action and maybe there’s a glitch in the system

Hi just a quick question…When I went to myunc account, I don’t see my application to do list. I’ve already turned in my app…so is there a way to check on this. Is my to do list or something needs to be there or is my situation completely fine where it is.

Sometimes even if you submitted it before the deadline, the school doesn’t actually download your application until a later date. This happened for me with the common app, it kept saying that my applications were submitted on a later date, but that’s just when the school downloaded them. Could be the same thing. If you have proof it was submitted on time then you should be fine.

^ Thanks ArtemisDea

Actually, I just found out that my app has been received, but a lot of its contents such as residency, and fee haven’t been turned in yet. I’m freaking out b/c when I finished my app, it said that the fee had been waived (since I choose that option) and that I did not need to complete any more residency forms. So, I’m going to have to present my situation to admissions. If someone has had a similar experience, please provide me pointers. As the OP, I REALLY don’t want to be considered RD since I finished everything on time.
