PC Regular Decision 2022

They said that they mailed all letters today on their Instagram page. Good luck to everyone!

Nothing in the mail today so we have to wait until at least Monday. I really wish they updated the portal like other schools.

Deferred EA, sent mid-yr scores in… PC is my #1 school at this point… should hear back soon

@running129 what are your stats?

@“BCgrad123!” why do you think that’s appropriate to ask?

A lot of people ask that question. Im not saying it’s right, but it’s not uncommon either. @Saint68

Has anyone that lives close to providence heard yet?

I shouldn’t have been so snippy with that comment, I’m sorry about that. Just bothers me that this process can often boil great kids down to a short list of comparative numbers and that’s not healthy.

I love relatively close but I haven’t been home to check the mail and will not be until late tonight. I asked my parents not to get the mail and leave it for me to grab. I don’t want them telling me ahead of time if it is a big or small package.

Just got the mail and there is a big packet from Providence. S is at school but I think I can assume that is good news.

Received acceptance package today in NH.
4.1 GPA, 1270 SAT - no merit. I got quite a bit in grants, but still over $40,000/year to attend. PC is my top choice…too expensive, unfortunately.

I was waitlisted. I’m kind of surprised because I got into Cornell and Syracuse! It’s a weird year for sure. Good luck to everyone. I’m going to move on and give the spot to someone who really wants it.

Just curious, does anyone know the % of deferred applicants that are offered admission in the RD round?

Waitlisted. 3.7 gpa, 1250 SAT, captain of 3 varsity sports, 100+ hours community service, secretary of NHS.

@ayutrzi I was deferred from EA and waitlisted on RD. That would be an interesting stat to know.

@running129 crazy right? I have a 4.0 gap, 1350 SAT, 1 varsity sport, 100+ community service and also a secretary of NHS. WTH???

@msk7777 this is absolutely absurd.

@msk7777 I’m really surprised that you got waitlisted. I think that this year they’re really becoming more selective. I wish the best of luck to you with the rest of your decisions! And congrats to those of you who got accepted!

Update: just got my letter. I got waitlisted too. For reference: 3.7 Wgpa and 1450 sat. From a very competitive HS in Virginia. I’m going to be accepting a place on the waitlist. Good luck to those who are still waiting for their decision!

Umm my D got waitlisted too after being deferred EA. A little surprised after getting into Northeastern, Syracuse and Fordham already. Clearly they are looking for a certain type of person and my D is not it! Oh well at least it narrows the choices some more.

I’m in CA and I got my letter. I got in! However, they didn’t give me a drop of merit aid so I can’t go. Too bad, I liked the school. But I got into some UCs and SDSU so I’m set no matter what. I have a 4.13 W gpa and a 3.89 UW with a 1390 SAT. Congrats everyone!
