I am a PrePharm student and I was wondering what are the differences between MCAT and PCAT - test format wise..

I know PCAT does not have Physics..but i was just wondering whether if it's okay to use the MCAT review books to review for PCAT because there are obviously more books published for MCAT and probably more detailed as well

PCAT includes:

2 Writing session- general composition skills and conventions of language, ability to communicate a solution to a problem

1 Verbal session- nonscientific word knowledge using analogies and sentence completion

1 Bio session

1 Chem session( both general and organic)

1 reading comprehension- comprehend, analyze and interpret reading passages on scientific topics

1 quantitative ability one

So yea...if anyone who knows MCAT very well and can help me, that would be much appreciated.

Thank youuu!
