PCC Class

I'm going to PCC this Fall, and my registration date is 7/22,, heard lots about the classes are really hard to get, fill out fast , just wondering 7/22 is a early registration date, or late.
And Do i have to something right now, or just wait until 7/22.

Thank you !!!

Before registering, they said you had to meet with a counseler and do the math/english testing…also applying for Financial Aid (if you’re applying for it)…and I hope that’s all!!

I can meet with my counselor anytime right? not really important right? because first year, I might just take few classes, as a part-time student in PCC, because i’m a out state student, but second year, i’ll turn to Cali resident, It’ll cheaper. also Do you think i can finish 40-45 credits in One year?

I think you can meet with a counseler anytime, I’m not really sure though…wow that’s a lot of credits…I’m only aiming for 30…but you might want to meet with a counseler to discuss that and see if it’s possible:)

40-45 is easily attainable as long as your focused.

12 is full time for 1 semester
4 is full time for quarter

12+12+4+4 = 32 already. thats only 3 classes during the semster and i usually take four

so 15+15+4+4 = 38 already. if you push yourself for more classes then you can easily hit 40-45

yes. getting classes is EXTREMELY hard. check when registration started. if it started 6/20 and ended 7/25. then your date of 7/22 is obviously late. just check their website to see when registration starts/ends.

you wait for 7/22 and thats when you have access to register for classes

IDK if this is still relevant but

the first day of registration is June 29th so you are late but I can say from my experience, classes are not that hard to get

I have been there for 2 years (transferring this fall) and have 79 units (could have been 84 but dropped math) and I have gotten all the classes I have needed/wanted in the semester that I was planning on taking them.

Oh and first year I took 44 units

go jocelyne! fight on fellow trojan :)
