PCQ and Summer Seminar

I was reading through all of the Precandidate Questionaire stuff and on page 2 it said “Do Not Sens Us Another PCQ . . . if you’ve already completed a USAF Academy Summer Scientific Seminar application for the 2006 program.” I applied and was accepted into the summer seminar but not the “scientific” seminar. Whats the difference? Should I submit the PCQ?

As far as I know Summer Scientific Seminar is the same thing as the regular Summer Seminar that alot of us have alrady been accepted to on here, its just the more formal name just as USMA has Summer Leadership Seminar even though we all call it SS. I could be wrong but I believe thats how it is, so therefor you shouldn't have to submit a PCQ, especially since being accepted to SS starts your file with the academy bypassing the initial screening of a PCQ

I called the academy 1 March, because my S received a letter dated 14 Feb. asking him to fill out the PCQ. I spoke with one of the admissions person who told me if he was accepted to SS he did NOT need to fill out the PCQ.

I was accepted into the Summer Seminar but still have not received my packet that I fill out and send back to the Academy... What time should I be expecting it?

Hey this topic has been greatly elaborated on in the other threads concerning this but I guess I'll answer it again :)

The official email informing us of our acceptance states near the top in the 2nd Paragraph that "An official registration package will be sent to you approximately the first week in April. " look forward to seeing you there flyingfalcon, keep in touch :)

haha sorry about that I remember hearing it but for some reason I thought someone had already gotten the packet! But thanks for answering see you there!
