PDAs.

Do any of you guys have one of these? Someone stole my iPod, and I think PDAs are so much better as it has more functions. What are some good brand PDAs? Some functions I need on it are: mp3, internet (WiFi), email checking, and AIM chatting. Other things such as a calculator, calender, and Microsoft Word, may also be useful. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?

Oh i thought this was about public displays of affection.

^^ Me too!

The trend is toward "smartphones," which combine a pda and a cell phone. In addition, most smartphones include email and web browsing and many have other features which can include a digital camera, video capabilities, e-book reader, gps mapping, document editing capability for Word and Excel files, PDF reader, Powerpoint, WI-FI, etc., etc., etc. Two of the top models right now are the Blackberry 8800 and the Palm Treo 750. Neither are cheap, but it's amazing how much they can do.

gbesq - Thanks for the two suggestions. I will look into those. What do you think of the N800, which is a successor of the N770? It came out Jan 2007.

The N800 is really more of a tablet PC, not a smartphone. I don't know much about it, but here's a review that you can check out: http://reviews.cnet.com/Nokia_N800_Internet_Tablet/4505-3126_7-32309517.html
