PE classes

<p>I am interested in doing a PE class either for beginner's tennis or intermediate basketball. To those of you who have taken PE classes before: is it worth it/recommended? Fun? Helpful in improving skill, etc? Is it mostly skill practice and such or are there plenty of actual games and competition as well?</p>

<p>i recommend PE 2 at least for tennis even if you are a complete beginner. i think in 1 they teach you how to pick up a racket first and foremost…not worth it</p>

<p>i recommend it. easy as hell and you get a workout! it was mostly skills/drills with a few games thrown in. i would just get together with others who wanted to hit for longer, so it was a good way to meet others who want to play as well. </p>

<p>plus, if you take it pass/fail, you can miss the occassional class if you want to study for a midterm or whatnot…</p>

<p>I also have a question about PE classes. Would you recommend taking a PE class if you are already involved in a club sport? I will be joining the Taekwondo Competition Team and I am wondering if “Sports Performance” Training can augment Taekwondo. Or will it be too much?</p>
