(I see everyone with one on their schedules...)

Sorry if this is an obvious question...

yes, you need two PE classes, 1 each semester of freshman year

From what I understand though, they are really easy to fit in and a fairly good time as well.

Gah…I was hoping I’d never have to take PE ever again. -.-

Thanks, though!

Really, PE at Cornell can be a lot of fun. They are nothing like what many experienced in high school. There are a lot of fun classes like bowling, badminton, tree climbing, etc.

In your first semester?

it doesn’t have to be in your first semester, although many ppl do take PE then.

Huh…tree climbing and bowling do sound like fun :)

I just don’t want to end up having to take some lame Basketball or something like that course.

if you look at the course catalog for PE, theres a bunch of random activities that count as PE classes that you would do normally for fun. i’ve never been excited for a PE class before, but looking at these, i am

There are so many PE courses I hope I have time to take:

Tai Chi, Renaissance Fencing, Sailing, Swing Dancing, Intermediate Yoga, Rock Climbing, Archery, Riflery

The dancing classes are pretty awesome, but for some of them you are required to sign up with a dance partner.

for females, there are also: ice-skating, gymnastics, yoga, pilates, spinning, a lot of dance classes, etc. Guys can also do those as well if they wanted.

how do the dance partner sign in work? any experience with either the beginning swing or salsa classes? im trying to decide between one of them.
