PE from 12 year old sister ?

good idea ? why/why not ?

Depends…Is she good at writing? at a high school level? How close is she to you? At a Dartmouth info session I was told that they’re looking for someone w/in roughly 5 yrs of you, so you sister would be a little on the youg side…but it could work if she writes a really good rec.

Is any 12 your old your peer?

reminds me of the episode of friends where joey sent in the letter for chandler and monica to adopt a child.
and they got it because the review people thought it was from a child, and was “extremely cute” XD

I remember reading something in one of those “get into college” books about kids’ recs.

Kids are usually so candid about what they have to say, and they won’t try and over complicate things with fancy diction. If you have a strong relationship with her, I’d say do it! The Dartmouth site doesn’t say anything about your recommend-er’s writing. As long as it’s coherent and shows something about you, you’re set!
