I am going into 9th grade in september. So this is the probably the first of many questions. My question is, In general do most schools allow you to get your PE credit from interscholastic and/or non school related athletics. I'm asking this because I have signed up for the school's JV Basketball (winter) and Golf (Spring) teams. I also do Martial Arts year round (not connected to the school). While I know this is institution specific, is allowing this generally the norm? Does anyone have experience in doing this kind of thing? I would much rather spend my time wisely in a classroom during this period than walk around a track while the other students smoke pot (not joking).

You can always pay for a high school continuing education class from a college, or talk to your guidance counselor about online schools that they accept credit from. Most high schools do this.
