Peabody/JHU- how closely are they related?

Hi! I’m currently looking into JHU/Peabody as one of my top choices for college. To my understanding, Peabody students live on the Peabody campus by Mount Vernon, while the Homewood campus is blocks away. I’m interested in a dual degree in neuroscience and music composition, but I also love to be involved in activities in many diff disciplines.

I’ll be applying for the fall of 2019 and my goal is to get admitted to both Peabody AND Hopkins. If I am only admitted to Peabody but chose to take multiple classes in the college of arts and sciences, is there any way I would be able to live on the homewood campus? Id you’re a Peabody student taking classes at the homewood campus, how does it affect you socially if you live on the Peabody campus? If possible, I just want to be part of the larger university as well. I hope there’s a way to go about that!

Like if I want to get involved in different student groups on the homewood campus, can I do that as a Peabody student? And will I spend a lot of time there? (Sorry, so many questions!)

Ah! I don’t have any information because I’m currently a senior that is applying for JHU neuroscience. But I love music and I definitely want to continue it in college. So hi pal! I’m sorry, this didn’t answer your question(s).

Hey! No problem! Thank u for responding  music and neuroscience I think could 100% go together that’s part of why I want to pursue both! Good luck w everything!! @musicmeister22
