Peddie Help

<p>I'm on the waitlist for Peddie (9th grade boarding). I'm very anxious to know my prospects of being accepted, since it's the only school I applied to.</p>

<p>If you were accepted to Peddie please post if you were accepted or waitlisted for any other schools and what your current plans are.</p>

<p>My guess is that Peddie accepted about double the number of kids they have spots for, so I need a lot of movement from the accepted kids before they get to the waitlist.</p>

<p>My anxiety is so high, any help would be great. </p>

<p>I was waitlisted too being a 9th grade boarding student. I was also waitlisted at Lawrenceville.</p>

<p>My anxiety is pretty high, too! But calm down. Don’t guess that Peddie accepted about double the number of kids they have spots for without clear statistics or someone telling you. I don’t think that’s true, because what if 75% accepted? There would be too many students.</p>

<p>In response to your question, my current plans are to stay on the waitlist and see what happens for both schools. What about you?</p>

<p>Hey i got accepted to Peddie 9th grade boarding and ive sent the enrollment contract, from what i see a few kids who got accepted arent going to Peddie. i got accepted to Peddie and NMH but i denied them. Dont worry theres a good chance of you getting off the waitlist.</p>

<p>i recommend you send an appeal letter and keep giving them updates on your life so they have a higher consideration of you on the waitlist. =)</p>

<p>hey boarderkid i recommend you tell them those achievements and anything else you can throw in.</p>

<p>also keep extream communitcation with them.
email daily simply saying hi , call here and there, keep them interested in you!</p>

<p>dont be the kid who accepts the place on the waitlist and just sits and wait.</p>

<p>by keeping such a close contact with the admissions office it shows your really interested !</p>

<p>i only know from what ive experienced from my many days ive spend on campus as a visitor</p>

<p>ive visited around 5 times for classes to get a full idea of what it is and i think ive got it down X)</p>

<p>Peddie09, I suggest you look at this thread. It won’t give you much information about your chances, but it will tell you lots more about the school.</p>
