Please tell me your thoughts/experiences on/at Peddie. Thank you!
oh, are you a peddie admit! Congrats! :0
My thoughts: (don’t attack me pls)
I got accepted into Peddie this year as well, but personally, I did not pick it. Not that it is a bad school, far from that. It just wasn’t the right fit for me as my other (surprising) admission. Peddie to me seemed really STEM and sports based, while I am a very quiet and more humanities (think writing) based kid. I personally do love the school, and I love the clubs they offer etc. but in terms of classes it’s just not the best for me.
HOWEVER, if you happen to be STEM based, then I think it’s a great school. Also if you swim and golf but yeah okay thats it thanks for coming to my ted talk.
By the way, you can DM me and i can add you to a peddie admits group if you want
@luffy8 I sent you a DM. I am a Peddie parent. We have been very happy with Peddie.
I just sent you a DM. Thank you. New to this Forum and learning how to DM.
Could you pls DM me? Would like
To know more about peddie thanks
Or anyone can show me how to DM please … thanks
You are a new user. You don’t have the ability to DM. But others can DM you.
I think this is a common misconception about Peddie. The humanities department is second to none and the quality of the faculty is outstanding.
In addition to all the core courses, both the History and English departments offer a large and ever changing selection of interesting electives each year.
As for creative writing, students may apply to the Signature Program in Creative Writing at the end of their sophomore year which culminates into a 50 page capstone project by Senior year. This is much like their showcase EXP/Lab Research Program for science.
There are plenty of artsy/non-sporty kids at the school, including some extremely talented musicians.
