Have people gotten into Dartmouth without submitting a peer evaluation? My friend said he thinks his mom sent mine in, but he says she can't remember if she did. They moved recentley so he's worried his mom might have thrown it away instead.

Ask the peer to resubmit the evaluation. (hopefully he or she typed it) Then the easiest way to send it in would be via email. (See instructions here: [Dartmouth Admissions Uncommonly Asked Questions: How should I send in the Peer Evaluation?](Dartmouth Admissions Uncommonly Asked Questions: How should I send in the Peer Evaluation?))

The peer evaluation is a required part of the application so it is important to send it in. I don’t know if it is “impossible” to get in with out one but it certainly is an unnecessary handicap. If worst comes to worst the you should ask/beg the peer (or another one) to write another recommendation and send it in quickly. While a rushed recommendation is not ideal, it is better than having an incomplete application.
