Peer Rec. Letter..Incredibly late. Will it hurt my chances?

It is incredibly extremely late. Trust me, I know. Common App was saying it got and then later when checked it didn't have it anymore. This happened a lot. After that, I ceaselessly tried to get the person who wrote the peer rec letter to mail it and email it but they took forever. Finally, they are sending it today by mail and email.......... I am unhappy about it being so late to say the least. Excellent letter (showed me even though I didn't ask), but it's late. Will it hurt my application that it won't be in until today? I sent Dartmouth other updates besides the midyear report and had an interview that was absolutely phenomenal with two alumni. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

It may hurt, depending on whether or not your application has been reviewed yet. I would try emailing them to see if your application has already been completely evaluated and if they would still consider it.

deadline was on 5th

Have they never asked for it?

I’ve talked to them and they didn’t make a big deal out of it since I had two interviewers and submitted 4 rec letters (counselor, physics teacher, gov teacher, scientist mentor). Should I call them up about it and see if they got it and talk to them about its effect on my app?

Dartmouth asks for a Peer Recommendation letter???
