My friend and I are both applying to Dartmouth. She asked me to write her Peer Evaluation. I was thinking of asking her to do the same. How do you think this would be viewed in the eyes of Dartmouth Admissions? Like we're just on this quest to be together in college (which totally isn't true.... we both just happen to love the school. It's my top choice, her third choice)? Or simiply like we both know each other well?

I had my best friend write my peer rec for me and vice versa. They want it from a person who knows you well. If that so happens to be another person applying, then so be it. :)

Don’t overanalyze this. They’ll glance through your peer statement to gain a glimpse of who you are and that’s probably it. Just ask someone who you know can comment on the various facets of your personality and what you alone may be able to bring to campus.
