How is peer teaching looked upon by admissions officers? I might be peer teaching next year for my favorite teacher, one who will most likely write one of my recommendations, and some people say don't do it because it looks bad. The rest of my schedule is mostly AP/Honors (except for English). Actually I guess I'll just put my preliminary schedule. Haven't sent in class preferences yet, but this is what I'm thinking of taking...

Physics Honors (didn't double up last year...definitely should have)
English 4A (I like writing, but not so much the literary analysis stuff)
AP Spanish (love Spanish and languages)
Gym
AP Stat (math guy, like the teacher)
AP Calc BC
AP Chem or Organic Chem Honors, not sure yet
Peer teach a journalism class. Could possibly do it for one semester and then find an interesting semester class for the other semester.

Would peer teaching be a good or bad idea? If it helps I will most likely be a chemical engineering major.
