I was accepted for the summer 2009 term back in September and I have yet to receive any information about the Pegasus Scholarship. My SAT score is 1200/1600, 1790/2400-- I will be retaking the SAT on Dec. 6, and I am aiming to pass 1300.

Since I did not receive anything does this mean that I did not qualify? Do you know if they will accept my new scores?

I emailed UCF but they are on vacation and won't be reading emails until next week.

When my D1 applied and was accepted to UCF back in October of 2005, she got the notification of the Pegasus scholarship award in the beginning of November (about 3 weeks after her acceptance). She had a 2010 SAT. I don't know what the criteria is these days for the scholarship but your SAT's seem low to me for it. My D2 wasn't offered anything last year(and we didn't expect anything) and her SAT was 1800/2400.

My son got his Pegasus scholarship info about 2 weeks after he was accepted for fall 09.
I think you can email the admissions office and ask, if you think you might qualify.

My d received notification for her Pegasus scholarship about two weeks after she was admitted. The day after that she received the application from the honors program. Once she sent that in, we heard back on her acceptance within the week.

My D received a Pegasus scholarship letter 2 weeks after her acceptance letter. Her stats were 1930/2400, 1280/1600. Her gpa is a Florida re-weighter 4.2. (UCF weights .5 for Honors, 1.0 for AP and c-,c c+=2 b-,b,b+=3, a-,a,a+=4; academic core classes only.

Thanks for the help.
Hopefully I will hear from UCF soon so that I will know if a higher SAT score will allow my to qualify. My GPA is a 4.2, so I have nothing to worry about there.

$10,000 will make a huge difference so hopefully it will all work out.
