PEIS101 or IAS45 ?? summer at Berkeley

IAS45 for 8 weeks

or

PEIS101 for 6 weeks

I'm transferring to Berkeley in fall, and I thought I'd be better to start early and get things out of way.

Between those two classes which one is more manageable?

Would it be crazy to take a summer class in the first semester?

Please give a comment. It'll be a great help for me.

Thank you so much!

You’d probably be better off asking in the Berkeley forum: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-berkeley/

I think summer school is a great idea. Just by looking briefly at the course descriptions, IAS45 for 8 weeks sounds like the better option for summer school, since it seems pretty straight forward.

I would do IAS 45 as it is a pre-req to declare PEIS. I assume you are planning on PEIS? Also, the 8 weeks certainly sounds more appealing. I am taking it this summer also.
