IAS45 for 8 weeks

or

PEIS101 for 6 weeks

I'm transferring to Berkeley in fall, and I thought I'd be better to start early and get things out of way.

Between those two classes which one is more manageable?

Would it be crazy to take a summer class in the first semester?

Please give a comment. It'll be a great help for me.

Thank you so much!

I would suggest you take IAS45 during the summer, just because you need to take IAS45 and Econ1 (or its equivalent) to declare a major in PEIS (which I’m assuming you are trying to do). Take IAS45 in the summer so you can declare your major as soon as you can to just get it over with. Also, I think you have to get at least a “C” or better in IAS45, and classes over summer tend to be a bit easier than during the regular school year. Hope I helped. =]

socalgal20, thank you so much for your advice!

That’s what I originally planned for, but I needed someone who knows well about Berkeley to assure me.
