pell grant and other governmental awards

when do we find out how much we recieve? do the colleges tell us, or will we know some other way?
some schools don't require the fafsa until april (i turned mine in a while ago and it was just reprocessed) but decisions are out march 29th, so will the pell grant award still be in the financial aid package?
i hope i'm making some sense.

College will tell you - but you can figure out roughly how much Pell grant you will qualify for based on your EFC. eg - EFC 0 = full Pell of $4310.

Here is a link to a chart showing Pell levels based on the previous maximum of $4050. http://www.fgcu.edu/AS/FinancialAid/grants-pell.html

There is probably one out there for the 2007-2008 year but I have not found it.

It's the same because I got the full amount.

Here is a link to the 2007-2008 eligibility chart. The grant ranges from a maximum of $4310 for an EFC of 0 to $400 with an EFC of 3901 to 4110.

EFC was zero.
