Pell Grant - family income cut-off

I'm pretty sure I don't qualify for the Pell Grant...but just to make sure, the cut-off is like $60,000 or something, right? Any sources for this?

I realize that I have to file the FAFSA/calculate my EFC, but I just want to get an idea. Thank you!

EFC is a bit complicated, so I’ll give a lot of details. With a family of four (my brother is still dependent on my parents, but not going to college 2010-2011), and parents’ income total of around $62,000, My EFC is 4573. If I remember correctly, the Pell Grant cut off for EFC was around 4618. Obviously, very close to the cut-off, so you can say that an income of around $62,000 is the approximate cut-off.

Good luck!

Okay! Thanks for the detail! Unfortunately, I’m not in that range so I will know not to apply now.
