I have a question about Pell grant repayment. If I enroll at university and receive Pell grant for two semesters, which is one year and withdraw from university after completing the first year, do I have to repay the Pell grant?

The only time a Pell grant has to be repaid is if a student withdraws from all of his classes prior to the 67% mark or if he dropped classes after the disbursement & thus is not eligible to keep the full amount (like dropping from 12 credits to 11 - you only get 75% of the scheduled award). After the year is over, then there is no repayment … because it’s a grant.

The TEACH grant, on the other hand, is a grant that could become a loan … but that’s the exception to the grants-are-free-money rule.
