Pembroke, Cambridge Lent/Easter Abroad.. any idea on admission difficulty?

I did my share of stalking CC and Pembroke, but I couldn't find much. I was wondering if any applicants from the USA who were accepted would mind sharing their personal stats, or if anyone has any 'anecdotes'-- whatever you feel comfortable about sharing. My academics are definitely in line with Pembroke's req of 3.7 GPA.. but as the Pembroke website said, it's extremely, extremely competitive, so I don't want to be drawing up rose-colored dreams..

thanks in advance!

Hi ,have you tried the Uk version of this site its called ************** google it and has articles on Cambridge admissions and a forum where Cambrdge students past present and future post.

ok cc doesn’t seem to like references to the uk site which is weird. try the student room but without the spaces

Yep I already tried but those are overwhelmingly populated by UK students, and I couldn’t find any from America who studied a year abroad as opposed to to fully matriculating from the college…

I firmly believe that Pembrokes admissions are in pair with any other college’s requirements at Cambridge University (after all, the university set the standards), therefore it would most certainly make sense to ask people about their experiences at any CU college.

The Stu.ent Ro.m is indeed filled with Britons, but you may try Cambridge University forums… Best of luck! Pembroke is one of the nicest and oldest college of the university, and have a great location too.
