Pen or Pencil - AP FRQ?

Do you all use pens or pencils for AP FRQ's? This is for AP exams ranging from English lang, Lit, Spanish, Calc, Physics, Chem , Eco, Bio?

If pens, which kind of pen? ballpoint or ink?

thanks so much.

My teacher for APUSH said to always use a ballpoint pen because it’s neater than a pencil. If you make a mistake you can just cross it out instead of messily erasing it and its also a lot more bolder and easier to see.

Pen. Some tests specifically tell you to use a pen. You can find the information of collegeboard.

FRQ’s that involve essays are usually pen-only while those that involve problem-solving (calculus, physics, etc.) can be done with pen or pencil.

I try to use pencil when I’m allowed to. When I use pen, I prefer ballpoint, blue ink (Bic Atlantis, to be specific).

My teachers have instilled in us that if we don’t write our FRQs in pen, they will not be graded, as that happened to a student before.

Pen. Pilot G2-5 (gel ink 0.5mm) is my personal preference.

You sound like a hit man describing his favorite special forces assault rifle.

Just as a hit man has his preferred weapon, I have my preferred writing utensil…

Seeking, you can use gel pens like g2s?

I think they say not to, but the G5 is a really fine tip so it’s almost like any regular pen.

Bic Crystal Black. I’m ghetto.

Oh crap, I just read the above post and realized that I use Bic Cristal and not Atlantis (though I was right about the color of pen I use). :P
