Pending Ivy Transfers

thanks.

i applied to the college

hey... ive been reading this thread for a long time and i finally decided to register so i can participate. also because its a good way to procrastinate writing this final paper.

im waiting to hear from a whole bunch of the same schools you guys are.. brown, penn, dartmouth, etc.

so far i've gotten into WUSTL, UVA, and Georgetown as a transfer (which is really exciting).

good luck all

I called penn minutes ago regarding the green postcard. they told me they sent the postcard a bit prematurely. they will email the applicant if they found you do miss some documents.
anyone got the same response?

I just got into Dartmouth! I'm so excited... thank you all for your help and support. I hope you all get great news soon.

Ed, Congrats!!!
are you planning to enroll there?

rigel: I received the same response as you did when I inquired about the postcard.

I don't know yet, but I'm definitely thinking about it. I have been leaning toward Dartmouth throughout the application process and I would definitely have no problem joining the Big Green community. We'll see how the other decisions come along, I need some leverage to negotiate some financial aid. Thank you all for your help, you have been great over the past months. Good luck to everyone, may acceptances plague your mailboxes in the coming weeks.

-Eddie-

That's one plague I would not mind withstanding...

if only it would come sooner.... (though i'm only waiting for a single plague...wait...not sure if that makes sense)

why can't harvard be like dartmouth??

boo.

Callled penn today... decisions release date got pushed back to mid may due to the large number of applications.

is it me or is the transfer dept. always more lethargic sounding that the regular admissions office? and i mean ALWAYS.

When we can expect Cornell release the decision? i am really frustrated on checking the online status everyday....

kkl, does that mean that all the decisions will be released on the same day in mid May?

i concur

the admissions office sounds perky but when i get transferred to the transfer office, everything is so slow.

Hmm, the large number of applications part doesn't sound too promising...

Well decisions for Penn come out on a rolling basis. So I assume decisions shoudl start rolling out around mid May. They didn't get into it, because the receptionist was too apathetic to answer anymore questions.

rigel, from previous posters, Cornell should still be making decisions. just hang in there.

thanks for letting us know, penn 9_9...geez, i hate how schools take advantage of the fact that we're at their mercy. that $70 application fee should maybe atleast cover an email telling us we're getting our decisions two weeks late.

bump......

Anybody bother calling to find out how far along they are? I would imagine it isn't exactly rolling at this point as they need to narrow the applicant pool down to 200. Oh well

do we know how large the aplicant pool is?
