<p>my brother tells me that every time someone gets rejected from off the beat, they get bitter and start their own group, so apparently there are about a billion of them</p>

<p>still though, otb is amazing, and they dominate the memory of my ipod!</p>

<p>my 217 essay was about audition for penn masala (i leanred indian classical music..singing/harmonium/tubla for like 8 years)</p>

<p>It's true, there are so many A Capella groups here, each good in their own right nonetheless. I would say Off The Beat is one of the more well-known groups on campus, second only to the Glee Club because they sing at formal functions and do the traditional Penn stuff. =)</p>

<p>There's a male a capella group called the "Logarhythms" at MIT. It's so corny it just has to make you laugh... either that or I'm very easily amused. No, I'm not applying to MIT, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to bring that up.</p>
