Those of whom have been accepted into UPenn (or just know), how much do you believe they take the writing section into consideration? Grammar has ALWAYS been a really weak skill for me because (in like 2nd grade) instead of getting a solid base like the rest of the kids in my school, I was thrown into an accelerated literature class. I never really got the basics down well.

I got like a 1500 M+V, but my writing score was a 670. So my M+V is much better than the UPenn average (like 1440), but my total is essentially right down the middle. The sad thing is that my essay was a 10 (meaning that I missed the really easy sentence completion). I'm mad at myself, but I CANNOT take the SAT again. I've heard some people say "Oh, they definitely look heavily at it", while others assure me, "They're actually more concerned with M+V and give much smaller notice to your writing and SATIIs".

Because UPenn is such a competitive school, I am lead to believe that they definitely consider the writing section of equal importance to the others. But what do you all think?
