Penn App Confirmation

Is there any way to confirm whether all of your application materials have been submitted/received by Penn? I sent my letters of rec and school forms a while ago and submitted my app online (and my ACT scores months ago), but am getting paranoid that something may be missing with the ED deadline coming up soon. Is there a way to check or do I just have to call the school?

did you do the common app or penn app?
i'd say call and ask if there's any kind of application materials tracker.

When I applied RD last year all I got was a confirmation letter in February (that began with a misleading "Congratulations!". I'm still kind of bitter about that).

Call and find out. Even if they don't, ask them to check right there on the phone.

Hi Chi-town23_33. Like you I sent my application for ED with common app,, except I did all of mine on paper. So my essays, school transcript, teacher recs and the actual application forms were all in the same large Fed-Ex envelope. (The merit of Fed-Ex is that you can trace your package to make sure it reaches there.)
A few days after I posted the package, I received a confirmation e-mail from the admissions office with a reference ID.

Perhaps you should contact the undergrad office?
Good luck to you.

I got the email a few days after i fedexed, too. Since I'm an int'l applicant, they assigned my ID at this point.

I actually submitted my application online using Penn's website. I received two emails after submitting each part saying that Penn has received it. It gave me a number to call in case I had questions and said they would contact me if anything was missing. I scanned for a decision ID but did not receive one (unless my registration for their app is the same thing).

I took the ACT in June, and chose for my scores to go to Penn when I registered for the exam. I am assuming those have been in Penn's possession for quite a while.

All the paper stuff (letters of rec, counselor forms, school reports) at my school are sent by the individual teachers and then our guidance counselors. This stuff was sent by snail mail. All of this was sent around October 1, so I thought it would have arrived by now. I know all things must be postmarked for November 1, so I'm not in a huge amount of trouble. I guess I'm just getting nervous as the deadline approaches.
