<p>They’re basically comparable. Penn’s economics department is ranked a bit higher than Cornell’s (Penn–top 10, Cornell–top 20), and Cornell’s political science department is ranked a bit higher than Penn’s (Cornell–top 20, Penn–top 30). In terms of overall academic prestige (among academics, that is–not high school students), they’re also quite comparable.</p>
<p>Choosing one over the other should be based on personal preference and fit. Academically, you can’t go wrong with either one.</p>
