*Penn Class of 2020 Early Decision Discussion*

@Najubhai From the U Penn website: What to Bring: Simply, we ask you to bring yourself. Please do not bring a resume or a portfolio. (Note that international applicants may be requested to bring additional documents.) Your passions, narrative, and questions will bring the conversation to life.

From what I have read so far, the interview is more to assess if the applicant is not a ROBOT and get any additional update(s) since the submission. Unless you really fight with the interviewer and upset him/her, you should be fine by just being yourself.

All the very best!

@VaishS and everyone else in general: I know we’re all worried about decisions, but I mean we really shouldn’t be at the point where we have a countdown going with more than a month left. I think that is kind of paranoid to be honest. Let’s all relax. Nothing is in anybody’s control now. It is what it is, and frankly, that is most definitely a good thing. We don’t need to worry anymore. We’ve submitted our applications.

@Najubhai I recommend bringing a copy of your resume, but don’t take it out unless asked. Do not initiate giving the resume to the interviewer. It can’t hurt to have it just in case though.

@TheWaffleMan149 I highly doubt an interview has ever been the deciding factor in a decision unless it was extremely bad. I would not concern yourself with when your interview is. You only need to accomplish two things with an interview: a) show up and b) convey interest and knowledge of the school. I imagine 95% of the time they make absolutely no difference, and when they are arranged is purely I’m inferring would make no difference. @shivaya is correct in their assessment.

@jarrett211 is the logical and sane one amongst us xD

Well I certainly am not the sane one lol

I agree with @jarrett211 It can’t hurt to have a copy in case they ask. I heard that some interviewers ask for one

just gonna jump into the convo here-I Ed’ed, LSM, got contacted for my interview and it’s set for early this coming week!

I have a question. Are interviews given to you based off your school’s address or your home address? Because I live relatively far away from the school (a good 5+ hours drive)

Welcome to the not-so-secret secret society of CC’ers applying ED to Penn @teenagecrime

@girl1425 school adress

@VaishS Thanks!!!

Hoping for the best this ED season. Anyone else also apply to SEAS?

This definitely could be the year that Penn decides to switch it up. I can feel change coming. Winter is coming
AND JUST LIKE THAT, GAME OF THRONES ENTERED THE CONVERSATION

And just like that the paranoia returns.

The paranoia has always been there. Sometimes it is just crouching in a comfy corner of your brain

Haha. I know.

i think that i have a problem. i can’t stop checking cc, and i can’t stop thinking about my application. help pls

in the penn website it said school address

@TheWaffleMan149 Yeah I have a similar problem. My first term ends on Tuesday. Honestly, I’m just holding out until then and then I’m done working hard lol. I’ve worked way too hard these past 3+ years. I really want to be done Dec 11.

I 1000% relate to all of @TheWaffleMan149 's posts xD
