Penn, Cornell, G-town,?

I'm applying to Barnard ED in addition to some Ivies. I've heard weird stories about Barnard's admission, so I'm kind of scared. What are my chances?

SAT: CR 800, M 700, W 800
SAT II: M2 680, USH 800

GPA: 94.5 UW, 7 AP's by graduation, no ranking

EC's

-Black Belt/Instructor
-Varsity Tennis (captain)
-Track

-Have studied three languages other than English
-I tutor in one
-have done speaking competitions in another,
-founder of the club in school for that language
-Debate team (captain, county awards)
-Intership doing stats, working on a study
-Internship at a med school, coauthored a paper
-Camp counselor at alternative camp

a yes or no would do.

Yes for Barnard, yes for G-town, and low reach for Cornell and Penn.

By studied, do you mean these languages were learned in a classroom. If so, take the SAT IIs in them to alleviate that painful Math II score. If not, you are going to need some more ECs to improve your odds at Cornell and Penn. Other than those two, you are slated to get into your other choices.

Yep…learned the languages. I didn’t go into detail for my EC’s, but lets just say my GC said they’re the most impressive she’s ever seen (granted, my school is not very competitive).

And at Cornell, I’m applying to either CALS or HumEc, which are less competitive.

The one I care most about is Barnard…so I have a good chance ED?

bumping this

bump again! ill chance back…

What were you APs? If they are 5s, that indicates that your 94 GPA is not inflated, which will help. You should get accepted into Barnard early if you have strong teacher recs.

We’re only allowed to take 2 AP’s, so I just took Gov and Lang (pretty simple), and I got 5’s. Next year its unlimited, so Psych/Human Geo, Stat, Lit, and Bio.

anyone else?

can people answer please?

bumping this again.
