Hello i am an international student from India applying for SEAS.i had my sat score 1920(i have already sent those scores to penn).therefore i am giving my ACT on Oct 22 which i find is easier.i normally get 33-34 in my practice tests.so would my act scores reach them in time and how much would my BAD SAT scores affect my application

I think that if your ACT is that high its no problem at all, even ivys these days look at the ACT as much as they look at the SATs, but I think you still need the SAT2s.

my sat 2:-
Maths II C- 800
Physics:- 770

ANYONE
Plz tell would my ACT scores reach in time for SEAS upenn ED!!!

From the Penn website:

When to Take the Tests

•Early Decision candidates should take these examinations either during the junior year or in the summer before the senior year, but no later than November 2010. Early Decision candidates who opt for November examinations must rush their test scores to us.

I had a 1940 on the ACT. Needless to say they took my 32 into account and ignored that rather low (for the ivies) SAT score. If you can score l that high on the ACT, the SAT won’t matter.

Just to set the record straight. You don’t need to take SAT subject tests if you submit ACT scores.

See [Penn Admissions: Required Tests](http://www.admissionsug.upenn.edu/applying/testing.php) “The American College Test with Writing, may be used in lieu of the SAT Reasoning Test and two SAT Subject Tests. No preference is given to either test.”

In practice, however, this is probably a moot point for most students, as they will be taking SAT subject tests for other schools which require them in any case, and Penn requires you to submit all test scores from all tests taken.
