<p>No one on this thread should really be down on themselves. If you know anything about the admissions process, then you know that it is a complete crapshoot. Who knows why applicants with the same credentials don't both get accepted? Or even worse, who knows why an applicant with better credentials does not get in? The admissions committee looks at your entire package and no one will ever know why they did or did not get in. So just keep your chin up and hope for the best.</p>
