Thanks... I try to be quirky, hopefully, the adcoms will agree

26e and Krabble, I think I'm in a worse situation than you guys. I haven't even started on my essays yet. Not even one. And I haven't even fill out my apps yet, none of it. I'm taking time off today to do the Why Upenn one though. Is it just me that likes to do things in the last minute? Can't really change that about me. Well, back to writing the essay...

kick it's a*s, mate

do they say mate in florida?

i never knew that people outside of massachusetts didn't say 'wicked'

plus.. i had no idea that other people didn't call history, 'soc'

soc(ial studies)

soc, idk, but i had a cousing who lived in NH a few years ago, when Hanson was "wicked". didnt someone here want to meet hanson? mate is my own thing, just cuz we have to go to pronouns here cuz we dont know people's names

I know some from my school that call it sock street (social studies, soc. st.)! Actually, I only know one person that says this.

thanks for the advice krabble. just out of curiosity, how far is everyone else on the app?

I'm done. My GC wants everything in by tomorrow, so I'm just sealing the envelope as we speak.

sigh I've done everything I could, the rest is up to Penn!

good for you astrid! I wish I could say that... I've a whole essay to write and I'm leaving that for the last week of october!!! Thank god Penn accepts online apps!

Seems you and I both enjoy random political/philosophical discussions - This is probably the reason why I picked PPE......also the abbreviation is cool;)

yess...i was pretty thrilled when i found out that a major like that existed..now lets just hope i get in and dont have to worry about trying to find a comparable major elsewhere =/

oh and yes...abbreviation is pretty darn cool =)

any of guys sending supplementary materials?
btw, do you guys think Penn would mind if I sent in one of my lit. analysis papers even though im applying to the SEAS?

I'm sending in supp. materials. A recording and a glowing recommendation from my newspaper adviser<----------this makes me happy:)

I don't think Penn would mind, as long as the paper reveals something about you that isn't apparent from reading the application. Actually, they'd probably be impressed that someone dedicated to science/engineering has a passion for writing as well.

yay for Penn politics. we just need to find a republican...

I like to pronounce abbreviations so PPE is peh-pee

^ I thought I saw a couple of Republicans on the first few pages... ha, they're probably staying far away from us crazy liberals.

i don't think they were poli, or PPE, though...just average, run-of-the mill, bush-(insert derogatory verb here) Penn applicants.
