What is your Academic Index?

Post your # here, and say which Penn school you’re applying to.

Also, make sure to use the SAT I WRITING in one of the SAT II spots, since Penn is weighting the Writing equal to CR + M.

I'm a little confused as to how to factor my scores into this calculation. I submitted my SAT score just so Penn could see my Subject Tests, but I actually did much better on the ACT. I sort of blended my SAT and ACT scores for this calculation. They are: ACT 35 (36E, 33M, 36R, 35S), Math IIC 800, Literature 750

paro, hopefully nothing ...

It means nothing really, admissions are holistic, so this is now obsolete and unimportant...it's kind of interesting though

true jyankee, unless you get a 3/9... and then you feel depressed

I read A is for Admissions... and apparently it isnt obsolete... It may be overriden though

So then what's your # ?

I got a 6 and I feel depressed.

think how i feel with a 4

Oh man, I is stupid. Me only get 197 and 3/9. Better cry meself to sleep.

I wish I had a 10...

i dont see how for a school like Penn this could work (except maybe for recruited athletes) =(

218.5 Huntsman (if not, Wharton)

Um, you got a 9 so you need to shut the (heck) up !

The AI is just a part of the admission process... essays and ECs, which are also scored, are missing so dont freak out!

220.5
7/9

cas

is class rank more important than gpa to penn? cuz i used the gpa method instead of class rank and went up to a 9/9
