<p>I submitted my common app and supplement yesterday and I just realized I can't access the PFAS until I get my "portal" account. Judging by other posts on this thread, I won't get my id for at least a week, and at that point we would be past the deadline to apply for financial aid. What should I do?</p>

<p>yeah, they extended it. They told me on the phone.</p>

<p>I know I saw somewhere on Penn’s student financial service site that basically said that even though November 1 is the deadline, if you get everything in by November 15 they should still be able to give you a financial aid estimate for early decision. </p>
<p>The only place I can find this information now is on the MyPenn Applicant Portal. It states that the deadline is now November 15. Here is exactly what it says:</p>
<p>“October 28, 2009
If you are an Early Decision applicant and plan to apply for Financial Aid, please submit all application materials as soon as possible. The deadline for submission is now on or before November 15.”</p>
