much cleaner. this is very good.

yeah I like it much better

finally, the old one was from the 90's

It looks like much of the site is still outdated though. (take a look at the hair cuts!)

i dont think it is THAT outdated, but the new one really does look a lot better.

On a related note, I noticed the PennPortal now has a "Penn Live" link on the top bar. Anyone know what that's about?

penn live is the new webmail service that took so long to approve / implement...

currently only open to sas and wharton, i think, with seas and nursing possibly supporting it later.

personally i forward my webmail to gmail now, and have no use / desire for a windows live account. wish google had won out, but oh well.

we all wish google had won out...

The new site is a definite improvement over the old one which came out in 2001.

But the undergraduate admissions site is embarrasingly out of date. It features quotes from members of the class of 1998...at a time when the class of 2008 are seniors.

They didn't really update much other than putting the changing picutres in the front page. It does look better than before, but everything else looks the same and outdated. I think now is a good time to redesign the whole web site.

at least it's better than harvard's website.
