Penn interview on campus

hey guys! im a junior and i go on spring break in two weeks and my mom set up for me to have an interview at the penn campus during my spring break…im really nervous since ive never gone on a college interview before and i have absolutely no idea what to expect…normally they dont give interviews this early and on campus but my mom is an alumn of penn so they do it for legaciess

i have so many questions like…

what do i wear? (im a girl)
what do i bring? resume? how many pages should it be?
you guys remember any tough questions that they asked at your penn interview?
what questions should i ask about penn at the interview?
anything else that i should do to make a good impression?

im seriously considering EDing to penn and conseuqently, am freaking out over this interview

any tips CCers?

I don't know if all Penn interviews are like this, but mine was really informal. He asked some questions about extracurricular activities, best / worst teachers, "why I want to go to Penn," etc.. Much of the interview was me asking him questions about the school; I think that it is just as informative as it is an evaluation.

Wear a nice blouse and skirt.
Resume isn't necessary, since they usually have questions for you.
Nothing really hard, it is informal as mentioned above.
Any questions you want answered. Questions along the line of: "What did you enjoy most about Penn?"

Don't stress out. Interviews only affect you if they are amazing or terrible.

I wasn't asked anything at my Penn interview. She just told me her whole life story (i.e. how she met her husband at this particular basketball game, how all her friends went to Penn, how she's glad she lives so close to Penn so she can visit all the time* blah blah blah). She didn't ask me ANYTHING about myself.

*I starred it because I (and my interviewer) live about 20 minutes from Penn. I didn't have an on campus interview, by the way. I hope your interview is much better than mine.

It's actually 10 if there's no traffic. But there's always traffic in Philadelphia.

You can bring a resume if you want. It's a nice extra. I'd say wear a skirt that's not short and a blouse or something but I'm a guy so who knows. Interviews vary a lot but be ready to explain why you want to go to Penn, what Penn has that you like, things you like to do, your school, and just things about yourself. And, if you know what you want to major in, you can ask about that. But don't plan things out so much that you have speeches ready. Just make sure you won't sit there with a blank look on your face if something common is asked. The interview can't hurt you unless you're rude or can't have normal conversation. Good luck.:)
