Penn Interview

Hey, i have my interview this saturday, and I’m wondering what kind of questions the interviewer might be asking.

and also, when they say “dress casually” does that mean business casual?

thanks!

For a guy.. khaki's and an oxford.
For a girl.. nice pants and a sweater/oxford.

So yeah, business casual.

i had my interview yesterday... be prepared cuz i got asked a bunch of questions. it lasted for a little over a hour.

some samples:

Do you see yourself as a leader? Give me an example.
Tell me a situation when you took intiative?
Whats one quality you'll be remembered for when you graduate college?
If you could be in the admissions room when they made your final decision, how would you convince them to accept you?
Obviously Why penn?
and more i cant remember them all

Be sure to come with a bunch of questions to ask the alum. Your welcome..i wish I had this info b4 my interview....be straightforward and dont stall. They dont want to see you think at length for an answer just to appease them. BE YOURSELF.

thanks for the info.

also, i'm just wondering how much the interview counts toward the admissions process. i'm really nervous about it because there might be some questions that i might just blank out to!

how did you guys prepare?

i dont really know how to prepare i mean just realize beforehand that you will need to dive into who you are and try to remember the highlights of your time in high school and why you did what you did (say that 10 times fast). btw the interview has barely any effect id say 2 percent of the entire decision to give it a number. my interviewer just said its for another recommendation but nothing really carrying any weight unless you have the greatest (or worst) interview ever...so unless you are expecting that then it will really have no weight
