I understand that we should get our applications in by the October 15th deadline in order to have an interview, but if we can only get it in by the November 1st deadline, do we still have a good chance of getting an interview? Has anyone had any experiences with or problems with this in the past?

there's a deadline for October 15th?!

its not a "deadline". the actual deadline for ED is november 1st. they just like prefer it by october 15 if possible. i was wondering how much of a chance i have of getting an interview if i just submit it by november 1st.

Also, does anybody know if i can send MY portion of the application (i.e. supplement + commonapp) by october 15 to get a better chance for an interview while the school sends transcript and such by november 1st?

I talked with a regional advisor for penn and she said that it really depends on the region you are in. She used the example that if you were in New Jersey it would be best to get it in early (because of first come first serve), but if you were in like Idaho or something then it shouldn't be a problem as long as there's a interviewer in your area.

Hi Chink182,

I'm from Mumbai India, so could you tell me what my chances of getting an interview are if i submit it after 15th october?
