Hey guys,

Do you only get contacted about alumni interviews after you submit the Common App to Penn? What needs to be submitted in order to get an interview?

I know you can submit Common App + Penn Questions first and submit the Writing Supp later, so if you submit the CA will that establish your admissions file at Penn?

Also, when do you receive info about your Penn Portal–after you submit CA or CA+Supp? Is there any advantage to submitting an app early (not having things done, I’m talking about actually clicking submit)

I don’t think that there is an advantage to submitting an application early, nor getting to interview early. Take your time. Submit the best application you can. Keep in mind that interviews are more about giving you an opportunity to learn about Penn than in evaluating you.
