<p>to be honest, ilovepeople712, you bring up Chicago’s location vs. UPenn…and having explored chicago, including the UChicago campus and the surroundings…I’m going to have to disagree.</p>
<p>Sure, Hyde Park is nice and quaint and a lot of rich folks live there.
But, on the OTHER side of UChicago…the side where UChicago likes to cover up and conveniently hide from pamphlets is pure ghetto. People selling drugs on the street, carrying guns, etc. My piano teacher was robber at knife-point on her way to UChicago (where she teaches) not once but TWICE over the course of one week, the second time, with her purse being stolen including IDs, car keys, etc.</p>
<p>So…yeah. Chicago might be better than Philly…but not the area around UChicago.</p>
