Correct me if I am wrong. But the only FA available for LPS is FAFSA Pell Grant and loans (and GI bill/yellow ribbon) if you’re in the military.
So if you’re taking 4 CUs. Which is roughly 13K - Pell grant for super low income people caps at 5K.
You would be responsible to get the loans for the rest of the 7K.
Not to mention living costs and books and food and if you have a family.
However there are like <10 scholarships available to cover part time students classes (2 classes), but if you take more than 3 classes (full time student) - you lose the funding.
@Angelababy30 your friend should have a great story at a young age and a valid reason why he wants to transfer to LPS vs traditional student. I know a Vet who got into UChicago but still had to apply through LPS for UPenn (he was accepted). I say this because the program appears to be mostly for people who did not do the traditional route. If your friend took a year off or more I would think that would make more sense in terms of applying to LPS.
1- I am an interntational student and am planning to enroll for the programme. What is the registration deadline for the same.
2- On the website I read- Spring 2019 is the final term of admission for this program.
What exactly does this mean? Is the programme ending in spring 2019? Will there be one for fall 2019?
What is the minimum age to enrol for UPenn LPS?
Can you get into UPenn LPS right after high school?
Also, is there a divide between traditional and non-traditional students in UPenn or are young LPS students able to live and blend in well with the traditional students?
