<p>Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me more information regarding the summer program. How hard is it to get into and is the program very rigorous. I am currently a sophomore.</p>
<p>Hi Dilan, I was one of the student instructors for M&TSI a couple of summers ago (although I didn’t do the program myself when I was in high school). To the best of my knowledge, it is incredibly difficult to get into the program as a rising junior. There are usually only one or two sophomores that are admitted into the program, as the extra year of high school is usually needed to have the intellectual maturity to tackle the program.</p>
<p>You should, by all means, still apply; it’s a great and rigorous course in business cases, all sectors of engineering, and product design / management.</p>
<p>Do you think I have a shot of getting in given your experiences?</p>

PSAT: 195 
I go to a rigorous high school that is one of the best in the area.
I am taking 3 APs currently.
My 2013-2014 grades are:</p>
<p>1st Marking Period/2nd Marking Period</p>
<p>Honors Chemistry- A+/A+
AP Art History- A+/A+
Honors Precalculus- A-/A or A-
AP US History- A/A
AP Statistics- A+/A+
Honors Latin 3- A/A
Honors English- B+/B+ or A-</p>
<p>Do they accept a resume with ECs because I think I have some pretty unique ones?</p>

<p>Hard to say just knowing grades/PSAT - if you have a better test score that would obviously help quite a bit because a 195 likely won’t cut it. Alerting them of those EC’s is important so make sure you do if you’re able.</p>
<p>yeah i know that my psat score was pretty bad. i was expecting 205-210 but I made a lot of carless mistakes on math. the annoying part is that I got a 730 in math on the sat in
8th GRADE!!. My Ecs are highly business oriented. Thx for the advice.</p>
