I APplied to Penn Early Decision and applied to the 7 yr dental program. However, at the time, I listed as my backup choice, that if not accepted into the dental program, I would go to the SEAS for engineering.

Well now I have decided that if I do not get into the dental program, I would still like to pursue dentistry the normal way, or maybe go into business.

My QUESTION IS, AFTER BEING ACCEPTED, CAN I SWITCH SCHOOLS WITHIN PENN AND MAJORS?

ths in adv

Yes, you can. You’ll need to talk things over with Penn but you should be able to switch.

can i switch from SEAS to CAS easily?

Anyone can switch within Penn*

*This is contingent on their being space in the program that you are trying to get into and them accepting you (based on merit, grades, etc)

from what i hear, moving from anything into CAS is rather easy but the other way around is a little more difficult

yeah, but can i switch before i even start classes or would I have to be stuck in SEAS for a year first?
