hello everyone! I was just wondering what my chances of getting into the Penn nursing program are. I'm only a sophomore but here are my stats so far:
GPA- 3.8ish
Class Rank- 20 something out of around 400
estimated SAT score from PSAT- 1900 (but I didn't study and I know I can bring it up by the time I take the real SAT)
I take all honors courses and next year I'll be taking all available AP courses
Extracurriculars:
Biology Olympics
Medical Scholars Club
Color Guard
Wind Ensemble (I play the oboe)
Private oboe lessons
I'm a lifeguard
I'm certified in CPR/AED, first aid, bloodborne pathogens training, and life saving
I teach group and private swimming lessons
I've won numerous awards on the national level for Spanish
I volunteer at a local hospital and hope to volunteer at CHOP this summer

*In my essay I'm going to write about how I've been plagued with Juvenile Ankylosing Spondylitis and how much I want to enter into the medical field because I want to help other kids going through what I go through and how nurses that I've had have really done so much to help me get through it all.
*My math grades have never been the best, I usually get B's but since they're honors courses and I have so many health related EC's I hope that will make up for it

If I stay on this kind of track, will I be able to get into Penn nursing? What can I do to improve my chances? Thanks so much!
